Weight and Metabolism

Led by board-certified internal and obesity medicine physician Dr. Mona Sodhi, our program begins with a comprehensive assessment of your metabolic health, lifestyle, medical history, and body composition. From there, we create a treatment plan designed just for you, which may include advanced tools such as GLP-1 medications, nutritional guidance, resistance training support, and lifestyle optimization.

You won’t receive a generic meal plan or a one-size-fits-all strategy. Instead, you’ll work directly with Dr. Sodhi to uncover the root causes of your weight challenges and implement a plan that fits your life, protects your muscle, and supports long-term health.

Whether you’ve tried everything and nothing has worked—or you’re navigating midlife changes that have shifted your metabolism—we’re here to help you feel like yourself again.

FAQS

I’ve tried so many diets and nothing works. How is Monarch different?

We hear this all the time—and it makes sense. Most diets aren’t built for your biology. At Monarch, we look at the whole picture: your metabolism, hormones, muscle mass, medical history, and lifestyle. This isn’t about willpower—it’s about science. Dr. Mona Sodhi, a board-certified obesity medicine physician, creates a personalized plan using tools like GLP-1 medications (when appropriate), muscle-preserving strategies, and ongoing medical guidance. You get concierge support, monthly visits, and accountability—not a generic meal plan. Our goal is to help you stop guessing, start healing, and feel good in your body again—for the long term.

How much do the medications cost? Are they included in the program

Medication costs—like GLP-1s (semaglutide, tirzepatide, etc.)—are not included in the Monarch program fee, because they vary depending on the medication, dose, and whether insurance or pharmacy savings are available. We’ll walk you through all your options. Some patients use insurance or manufacturer savings cards to pay as little as $25/month, while others may pay up to $499/month out of pocket.

Do you accept insurance?

Monarch does not bill insurance directly, but we do provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many of our patients use HSA or FSA funds to cover care, depending on your plan and eligibility, some patients are reimbursed for part of their visits.
