Our Approach

Evidence-Based Care for Metabolism, Weight & Hormones

At Monarch, we don’t rely on fads, guesswork, or outdated advice. Our care is rooted in the latest research in obesity medicine, endocrinology, and women’s health—because your body deserves better than a one-size-fits-all approach.

We understand that midlife weight gain, fatigue, and body composition changes aren’t just about calories—they’re often a combination of hormonal shifts, metabolic slowdown, insulin resistance, and muscle loss.

That's why at Monarch, we use evidence-based medications like GLP-1 receptor agonists—when appropriate—to target the biological drivers of weight gain. We prioritize muscle preservation and metabolic health through personalized nutrition plans and resistance training guidance. Our care goes beyond lifestyle tips to clinically address perimenopause and menopause symptoms. By closely monitoring your labs, body composition, and symptom patterns, we adjust your plan in real time to ensure it fits your changing needs. Plus, we stay current with the latest clinical guidelines and emerging research so you don’t have to.

This is true medical weight loss and hormone care—designed for high-achieving individuals who want clarity, not confusion.

FAQS

I’ve tried so many diets and nothing works. How is Monarch different?

We hear this all the time—and it makes sense. Most diets aren’t built for your biology. At Monarch, we look at the whole picture: your metabolism, hormones, muscle mass, medical history, and lifestyle. This isn’t about willpower—it’s about science. Dr. Mona Sodhi, a board-certified obesity medicine physician, creates a personalized plan using tools like GLP-1 medications (when appropriate), muscle-preserving strategies, and ongoing medical guidance. You get concierge support, monthly visits, and accountability—not a generic meal plan. Our goal is to help you stop guessing, start healing, and feel good in your body again—for the long term.

How much do the medications cost? Are they included in the program

Medication costs—like GLP-1s (semaglutide, tirzepatide, etc.)—are not included in the Monarch program fee, because they vary depending on the medication, dose, and whether insurance or pharmacy savings are available. We’ll walk you through all your options. Some patients use insurance or manufacturer savings cards to pay as little as $25/month, while others may pay up to $499/month out of pocket.

Do you accept insurance?

Monarch does not bill insurance directly, but we do provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many of our patients use HSA or FSA funds to cover care, depending on your plan and eligibility, some patients are reimbursed for part of their visits.
